Albany
This modern rural home required UV protection and glare control without obstructing the outlook. Sunfilter roller blinds, including linked blinds on large doors, were selected for their functionality and clean lines. Split over aluminium mullions, they offer a minimal, symmetrical finish while maintaining privacy and maximising space.
The brief focused on blackout and daytime privacy in the bedrooms, and glare control in the living area. Sunfilter blinds were layered beneath outside-mounted Roman blinds and curtains to provide full blackout, insulation, and softness. A slim venetian above the bed offers flexible light and privacy control.
A slimline double roller blind system was used in one bedroom, combining Sunfilter and blackout blinds. Another room features Sunfilter blinds with decorative Roman blinds for blackout. In the dining area, linked Sunfilter blinds were split to allow door access while maintaining privacy. A luxe curtain and blackout blind complete the space.
Floor-to-ceiling curtains with a soft puddle finish elevate the dining area while enhancing thermal comfort. In the lounge, linked, individually controlled, roller blinds on slimline brackets were aligned with sliding doors and windows for airflow and light control. Sunfilter and thermal blackout blinds provide comfort and privacy day and night.
Sunfilter roller blinds were concealed in custom black pelmets matching the kitchen cabinetry, preserving the home’s clean lines and views. These blinds offer UV protection and daytime privacy. In the master bedroom, matching Sunfilter blinds and floor-to-ceiling black out curtains continue the refined, cohesive look.
This coastal home features automated blinds controlled via a Wi-Fi hub with backup remotes. Bedrooms include blackout blinds over stacker doors, while slim Venetian blinds in smaller windows allow flexible privacy. Sheer curtains in the lounge add softness, paired with complementary blackout blinds for consistency and comfort.
